Server to one client, waiting for the answer. Rarely the right tool: a client that never answers leaves the server yielding, and one that leaves raises an error.

  • needs the Roblox engine — its datatypes, its DataModel or its scheduler
  • latent — it yields, and is never inlined
  • takes 0 to 8 inputs, set per node
  • names its result — Result name in the Inspector is the local it binds, and a Declare Local reading that result makes a second one: see Variables and locals
