  2. 0.164.0The technical specification as a site of its own, at spec.roswaal.app.New2026-10-09

Added

  • 0.164.0The specification has a site of its own, built for spec.roswaal.app and previewed at /technical/ on the canary. It loads its own small stylesheet and script and nothing of the editor's: a chapter is about 15 KB to read, against about 340 KB as a page of the docs, and its search, over the specification alone, loads the first time it is used.
  • 0.164.0Each chapter has its own address, such as /visual-grammar/, and a sidebar of the chapters and the sections of the one being read. On a phone the chapters fold into a Chapters button.
  • 0.164.0Each draft keeps an address of its own: the latest draft is at the root, and Draft 0.1 is also at /0.1/, where it stays as published once a newer draft replaces it.
  • 0.164.0It is drawn in Roswaal's own light and dark themes, read from the themes the editor ships, with the same node pictures as the docs.

Changed

  • 0.164.0The specification stays in the Docs panel too, built from the same pages. Its front page and §14.1 say where it is published, and which address to cite.

Fixed

  • 0.164.1The graph tabs, and the Code panel's tabs, scroll with a mouse wheel. Both rows scroll sideways with their scrollbars hidden, which a trackpad does by itself; a mouse wheel turns only up and down, so on Windows the tabs past the edge could not be reached with it. Turning the wheel over a row that has more tabs than it shows now scrolls it sideways.
