  2. 0.185.0An import makes nodes of method calls on objects whose type it knows.New2026-10-15

Added

  • 0.185.0Method calls as nodes. part:Destroy(), remote:FireAllClients(1), folder:WaitForChild("Shared") and the like import as their own nodes when the importer knows what they are called on: a service, a name with a type written beside it, workspace, or the result of another node.
  • 0.185.0Service methods as Service Functions. A call on a service that the engine catalogue lists, such as RunService:IsServer(), imports as a Service Function. An enum argument written as Enum.KeyCode.W is set by its member's name.
  • 0.185.0workspace as an Instance node. A bare workspace imports as the Instance node set to workspace.

Changed

  • 0.185.1Compile shows what changes. Compiling a graph whose file Roswaal did not write, or one edited by hand, opens the changes line by line and asks before overwriting. It was a Not written notice, with Overwrite in the status panel. A compile on save still leaves the file and says so.
  • 0.185.0A method on anything else stays Call Method. A table may have a method of any name, so an object of unknown type keeps the generic node.

Fixed

  • 0.185.0No extra brackets round a call made on a bracketed value. A chain such as (script.Parent :: Instance):WaitForChild("A"):GetChildren() compiles as written.
  • 0.185.0No added cast in an imported graph. Find First Child Of Class and the other class reads no longer add a cast the file did not have.
