Warning
Worth knowing before you upgrade.
- 0.69.0The process arguments have no node of their own.
process.argsis a property of the module rather than a function, and the catalogue Roswaal reads from Lune's typedefs holds functions and classes. The command-line demo reaches it with a Luau Expression through the local the module bound, which works and is what the page shows. - 0.69.0Reading a field off one of Lune's named types warns. Roswaal knows the pin is a
FetchResponse, because Lune's signature says so, and reads the library's type names without their shapes — so it cannot tell that one is a table. The wire is right and the file runs; the demo shows it rather than avoiding it.
Added
- 0.69.0Four small Lune programmes, at Lune demos: read a file, fetch JSON and read a field, walk a directory, take a command-line argument. Each one is a graph, drawn, with the Luau it compiles to underneath it.
- 0.69.0They are compiled rather than transcribed: the file shown is what the emitter writes from the graph above it, so the picture and the code cannot describe different programmes and a demo that stopped compiling fails the build.
